Mess is a fiercely optimistic, relentlessly practical design and development studio located in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago. We believe in doing right by our clients and our team, making sure to leave the internet in a better place than when we found it. We value doing exceptional work, being honest and open, treating people fairly, and giving something back. Our body of work spans a wide range of industries because our core speciality is asking ourselves and our partners what is possible, not what is expected. We believe in the power of design beyond aesthetics, and strive to make considerate decisions that account for usability and sustainability. Technology is central to what we do, and we are always moving forward. We are always learning, always exploring, and occasionally making mistakes. We help each other fix them, and then we keep learning, exploring, and moving forward.
