From The Basement to World Class MSP CTG Tech launched in 1982 as a small company that provided computer parts and services out of a simple basement. At that time there was a significant gap in the IT industry that we strived to fill by providing options to repair malfunctioning computers and maintain existing systems. From that humble begin Pat Welch’s innovative thinking and business-focused perspective took the company from an innovative startup to a top managed service company with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and honest transparent IT solutions to organizations throughout the Dallas Fort Worth and Amarillo areas. As time passed CTG advanced out of the basement growing the number of services provided and hiring like-minded employees who could take Pat’s ideas and realize the company’s goals. While CTG originally focused on “break-and-fix” services the company realized that we had more to offer local businesses and began focusing on creating reliable technology solutions to help them excel.
