Founded as a fashion PR firm in 1988 with founders Karen Schneider and Lori Newman SLPR was one of the early pioneers of fashion PR on the west coast and became the first PR agency specializing in the action sports industry. While a lot has changed since the agency was founded one thing hasn’t – our passion for building brands. This is done through a combination of PR social media influencer marketing brand partnerships and events. With 25+ years of PR experience in fashion footwear accessories action sports and outdoor combined with a modern approach to digital social and content creation SLPR is a trusted source in building brands. Agency owner Staci Levine joined the agency in 1996 creating the action sports division leading PR programs for events such as Mavericks Surf Contest Warner Bros. Supergirl Jam Vans Triple Crown of Skateboarding Snowboarding and BMX and Boarding for Breast Cancer’s Sports and Music Festival. Her passion lies in launching new brands as well as cultivating community and creating beautiful environments at events. Staci’s passion for hosting global mindful retreats is being launched through a new division Sacred Women Retreats.
